preseason week 3

5-6 now? I didn't really try very hard last week. just can't get into the preseason. why post my picks you ask? I don't know. just for kicks, maybe I'll hit a streak and can talk some shit

gotta agree with Anthony Richkas, maybe not the best bet ever, but Washington looks good over the Rams.

and I got to go with my boys again, they look a lot better this year. The offense is clicking, I'd say they have a better than 60% chance in beating the Cards by more than 3.

Washington +3
Raiders -3
Titans +3.5 that's too many points to give to the Titans.

Just so you know why the Titans are +3.5: Coach Jeff Fisher indicated the starters may not see much action against the Cowboys but may get more work in the preseason finale against Green Bay Sept. 3. "The concern is that if you don't play a lot of snaps in the last preseason game that there is too much time," Fisher said. "You play a lot in the third and then there is almost a week off. What we want to do is carry momentum."

While Parcels says: 'he will treat Monday's game against Tennessee as somewhat of a dress rehearsal for the season, with the starters playing at least into the third quarter. That means that Vinny Testaverde will get the bulk of the work at quarterback, and either Drew Henson or Tony Romo will sub in late.'

It still may be a good bet, as Volek is best preseason QB in the NFL, but it sounds like Dallas is taking this game much more seriously than Tenne.

yeah I was afraid of something like that. I jumped in blind knowing that the Titans have a 50/50 shot of beating them even with their 2nd stringers. o.k. I didn't imagine that the Cowboys would play their starters into the 3rd quarter, wtf is up with that

I just read that the Raiders are taking the same stance as the Cowpukes, they are going to possibly play their starters 10-12 plays into the 3rd quarter. I always thought that the most teams usually played their starters in the preseason was the first half. I must have been drunk.
